Her story

Care shaped by the whole person.

Katelin is a licensed clinical social worker in Nevada and the founder of The Hive Collective: Whole Person Wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work in 2011 and Master of Social Work in 2013 from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Her work has taken her through inpatient mental health, outpatient therapy, primary care integration, managed care, and hospital social work. She has also served people and families in moments of community crisis, including the response to the Route 91 shooting in Las Vegas.

In clinical work, Katelin supports adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment, and life transitions. Her approach draws from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and family systems.

She founded The Hive because care should make room for more than an appointment. Her vision brings clinical support together with movement, restorative wellness, education, and community, while creating learning opportunities for the next generation of clinicians.

The vision

Belong. Heal. Thrive.

The Hive is taking shape as a community-centered place for whole-person wellness. While The Hive: Pecos Wellness Campus remains in development, current clinical services are available through Ascendant Counseling Center.
